Concorso Sassofonistico Internazionale “Adolphe Sax”

REGOLAMENTO 

Art.1 Moger arte e cultura e l’Ass.Adolphe Sax di L’Hay les Roses, in collaborazione con il Comune di Castelbuono e l’A.SAX.FR indice la Prima edizione del Concorso Sassofonistico Internazionale “Adolphe Sax” per i giorni 2 e 3 Febbraio 2019. 

Art.2 Il Concorso è aperto a tutti i sassofonisti di qualsiasi nazionalità e sesso, secondo i limiti di età fissati per le varie categorie. 

Art.3 L’iscrizione dovrà pervenire alla segreteria del concorso tramite mail all’indirizzo mogerac@gmail. com o posta ordinaria all’indirizzo “Moger Arte e Cultura Soc. Coop. Soc. ONLUS – Via Principe Umberto n.5 – 90013 – Castelbuono (PA) – Italia” entro e non oltre la data del 20 Gennaio 2019. 

Art.4 Le quote di iscrizione sono così fissate: 

Debuttanti € 50 

Giovani solisti € 60 

Superiore € 80 

Solisti €100 

Art.5 Per procedere all’iscrizione è necessario effettuare il versamento della quota tramite il modulo automatico Paypal presente sul sito moger.it o tramite bonifico bancario sul C/C bancario intestato a Moger arte e cultura Soc. Coop. Soc. ONLUS (Unicredit Banca) inserendo nella causale la dicitura “Iscrizione Concorso A.Sax – nome cognome – Categoria” al seguente codice IBAN

e inviare la ricevuta insieme al modulo di iscrizione compilato ed una copia del documento di identità (anche del genitore in caso di candidati minorenni). 

Art.6 In caso le iscrizioni ad una o più categorie dovessero essere insufficienti, le prove di quella categoria potranno essere annullate e la quota di iscrizione rimborsata. In tutti gli altri casi, qualunque siano le motivazioni delle assenze, la quota di iscrizione non potrà essere rimborsata. 

Art.7 La categoria “Debuttanti” è riservata a candidati che abbiano un massimo di 15 anni alla data del concorso. La categoria “Giovani solisti” è riservata a candidati che abbiano un massimo di 18 anni alla data del concorso. 

Art.8 Le prove concorsuali si svolgeranno in unica fase, ad esclusione della categoria Solisti che prevede una fase eliminatoria ed una fase finale alla quale sarà ammesso un numero massimo di 6 candidati. 

Art.9 In caso di assenza, i candidati sono pregati di dare comunicazione alla segreteria del concorso. 

Art.10 Il programma delle selezioni è imposto e così definito: 

1) Debuttanti: Lacour G. – Noctilene per Sax in Mib o Sib (ed. Billaudot)

2) Giovani solisti: Bozza E. – Fantasie italienne (ed. Leduc) 

3) Superiore: Boutry R. – Divertimento (ed. Leduc) 

4) Solisti: 

Semifinale – Bozza E. – Improvisation et Caprice (ed. Leduc) 

Finale – Larsson L.E.. – Concerto op.14 (ed. Gehrmans Musikforlag) 

Art.11 La fase finale della categoria Solisti si svolgerà durante la serata di gala del 3 Febbraio e prevedrà l’esecuzione del brano con accompagnamento dell’Orchestra Sinfonica Castelbuono Classica. Ai candidati ammessi alla prova sarà concessa una sessione di prove della durata di 30 minuti durante la mattina precedente alla serata di gala. 

Art.12 I risultati delle prove concorsuali verranno comunicati al termine dei lavori di ciascuna giornata o, nel caso della categoria “Solisti”, durante la serata di gala. 

Art.13 Durante la serata di gala verranno consegnati i premi ed i diplomi per i candidati premiati. 

Art.14 I candidati selezionati nelle varie categorie riceveranno i seguenti riconoscimenti: 

Debuttanti: diploma di 1°, 2° e 3° Premio 

Giovani solisti: diploma e medaglia di 1°, 2° e 3° Premio 

Superiore: diploma e coppa di 1°, 2° e 3° Premio 

Solisti: Diploma di 6°,5°,4°,3° e 2° Premio ed al primo classificato Gran Premio Adolphe Sax 

Art.15 La giuria avrà la possibilità di assegnare i premi offerti dalle ditte Selmer Paris, Buffet & Crampon, D’Addario, Silverstein, Vandoren e Marca ai candidati delle categorie “Debuttanti”, “Giovani solisti”, “Superiore” e “Solisti”.

Art.16 La giuria potrà ad insindacabile giudizio assegnare alcuni premi speciali.

Art.17 Il pianista accompagnatore è segnalato dall’organizzazione del concorso, è possibile prendere contatti tramite la segreteria del concorso. Per essere accompagnati occorre versare una quota aggiuntiva pari a € 35. 

Art.18 È possibile partecipare con il proprio pianista accompagnatore. 

Art.19 Lo svolgimento delle prove è pubblico a ingresso libero. 

Art.20 Per i candidati è prevista la possibilità di usufruire di alcune sale per il riscaldamento prima delle prove selettive. 

Art.21 Ai candidati si richiede l’utilizzo di partiture originali. 

Art.22 Iscrivendosi al concorso i partecipanti autorizzano l’organizzazione all’utilizzo di immagini, nomi, dettagli biografici, video e registrazioni ai fini pubblicitari o per pubblicazioni legate al concorso. 

Art.23 L’organizzazione non si fa carico di possibili incidenti o danni accidentali occorsi ai partecipanti al concorso, né danni materiali a strumenti o perdita di effetti personali. 

Art.24 L’iscrizione al concorso implica l’accettazione integrale del presente regolamento e la presenza del candidato per il giorno e l’ora della convocazione che verrà comunicata allo stesso entro 10 giorni dalla data della prova selettiva. In caso di mancata ricezione della convocazione per tale data, si suggerisce di contattare immediatamente la segreteria. 

Art.25 Nessun reclamo sarà ammesso.

International Saxophone Competition “Adolphe Sax” – Second Edition

Rules

1. Moger arte e cultura and Association Adolphe Sax in L’Hay les Roses, in cooperation with Comune di Castelbuono and the A.SAX.FR organize the Second edition of International Saxophone Competition “Adolphe Sax” on 2nd and 3rd February 2019.
2. The Competition is opened to all saxophonists from every country and sexes, according to age limits fixed for each category.
3. The inscription have to be sent to competition’s secretary by e-mail at the address mogerac@gmail.com or by ordinary mail at the address “Moger Arte e Cultura Soc. Coop. Soc. ONLUS – Via Principe Umberto n.5 – 90013 – Castelbuono (PA) – Italia” with in and not after the 20^th January 2019.
4. Inscription fees are so fixed:
   1. Dabuttanti/Beginners                 € 50
   2. Giovani solisti/Young soloists   € 60
   3. Superiore/Superior                     € 80
   4. Solisti/Soloists                             €100
5. For the inscription is necessary to pay the inscription fee using the online Paypal button on the website moger.it or by bank transfer on bank account titled to Moger arte e cultura Soc. Coop. Soc. ONLUS (Unicredit Banca), to indicate “Inscription Competition A.Sax – Name Surname – Category” to this IBAN code

and to send the receipt together with the filled inscription form and a copy of an ID card (also one parent in case of candidates under 18).

7. Organization could choose to cacnel one or more categories if the inscriptions are not sufficients. In this case inscription fees will be refunded. In all other cases for every kind of absence, the inscription fee couldn’t be refund.
8. The category “Dabuttanti” is dedicated to candidates that are at max 15 years old at the date of the competition. The category “Giovani Solisti” is dedicated to candidates that are at max 18 years old at the date of the competition.
9. Competition selections will take place in single round. Cat.d “Soloists” is in two rounds, eliminatory and final. For final round there will be selected only 6 candidates.
10. In case of absence, candidates are pleased to inform competition’s secretary.
11. Program for auditions is:
    1. Beginners: Lacour G. – Noctilene per Sax in Mib o Sib (ed. Billaudot)
    2. Young soloists: Bozza E. – Fantasie italienne (ed. Leduc)
    3. Superior: Boutry R. – Divertimento (ed. Leduc)
    4. Soloists:
       Semifinale – Bozza E. – Improvisation et Caprice (ed. Leduc)
       Finale – Larsson L.E.. – Concerto op.14 (ed. Gehrmans Musikforlag)
12. Final round of Cat. “Solisti” will take place during Gala concert on 3^rd February evening and will consist in execution of the piece with Orchestra Sinfonica Castelbuono Classica. Each participant selected for final round will have a 30 minutes rehearsal with orchestra on the morning of 2^rd of Febru
14. ary.
15. Finale results of the competition will communicate at the end of each day of work or, in case of cat. “Solisti”, during Gala concert.
16. All prizes and papers will gift to the winners during Gala concert.
17. Selected candidates will receive the following awards:
    1. Debuttanti: paper of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Prize
    2. Giovani solisti: paper of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Prize
    3. Superiore: paper of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Prize
    4. Solisti: paper of 6^th, 5^th, 4^th, 3^rd e 2^nd Prize and for 1^st awarded, Gran Premio Adolphe Sax
18. The jury will can assign prizes offered by Selmer, Buffet & Crampon, D’Addario, Silverstein, Marca and Vandoren for candidates of all categories.

19. Members of Jury can award participants with special prizes.
20. Members of Jury will be saxophonists Jean Louis Delage (President), Alexandre Gallego Medal (Saxophonist), Giovanni D’Aquila (Composer) and other.
21. The Organization will make a pianist available. Is possible contact him through the reception secretary. For the pianist service there will be and additional fee of 35€.
22. Is possible to participate with one own accompanying pianist.
23. All the rounds are public and free entry.
24. There will be rooms for participants’ warm up activities before their auditions.
25. Candidates are invited to use original scores.
26. At the moment of the inscription at the competition, participants agree to use images, names, biographic details, video and recordings only for publicity or publishing linked to the competition.
27. The Organization doesn’t make load of possible accidents or accidental damages occurred to the participants during the competition, neither material damages to instruments or loss of personal effects.
28. Participants, with inscription, agree integrally present rule and agree with calendar and schedule with day and time of convocation that will communicate to the participants since 10 days from the audition. In case of missed receipt of the convocation for that dates, it is suggested to immediately contact the reception office.
29. No claims will be admitted.
